LEARNING JOURNEY REFLECTIONS

Poetry 360

Learning Through Verse

Over the past year, mentees in Girls Write Now's Poetry 360 program worked collaboratively to build their capacity for wonder, gratitude, and resilience by engaging with Ross Gay's Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude, and writing poetry in response. Led by Fellow Azia Armstead and Teaching Artist Colleen Hamilton, Poetry 360 mentees produced eight podcast episodes, performed at the New York Public Library—and dialogued with Ross Gay at our Friday Night Salon.
