Here & Now: the Girls Write Now 2024 Anthology (Dutton, Penguin Random House) and Girls Write Now on the Art of the Craft: A Guidebook to Collaborative Storytelling (HarperCollins), with readings from mentees and a presentation of multimedia work including podcasts, videos, and visual art.

LEARNING JOURNEY REFLECTIONSPoetry 360Learning Through Verse Over the past year, mentees in Girls Write Now's Poetry 360 program worked collaboratively to build their capacity for wonder, gratitude, and resilience by engaging with Ross
Gay's Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude, and writing poetry in response. Led by Fellow Azia Armstead and Teaching Artist Colleen Hamilton, Poetry 360 mentees produced eight podcast episodes, performed at the New York Public Library—and dialogued with Ross Gay at our Friday Night Salon.

Girls Write Now Headquarters Join us on Thursday, July 11, for our second open mic of the Summer Open Mic Series. Ten readers will be given three minutes to perform their work (poetry, a song, a story excerpt, etc.) in front of a live audience at Girls Write Now headquarters. We will begin with a group generative writing exercise to explore our own creativity before hearing from performers. Light snacks and refreshments will be served!
