On April 1st, Wildly Different celebrated our eighteen-year anniversary! The last eighteen years have truly been amazing! We’ve played outside the cubicle with corporate clients across the globe on land and at sea, made an impact by giving back to countless charities, and developed scavenger hunts and recreation programs for resorts around the world! Most importantly, we have built a team that feels like a family. Thank you for being on this wildly different journey with us, we can hardly wait to see what the next year brings! Escape the ArcticOn Friday, May 21st, have your team “escape” from their workday for an hour or two, enjoy a piece of pizza (or two), and partake in Escape the Artic! During this virtual escape experience, teammates find themselves lost in a snowstorm during a hiking expedition in the Arctic. Luckily, as nightfall approaches, they find a small hut and regain hope that they’ll find a way to call for help inside. Daylight is fading, but thankfully their trusty flashlight is still working. In these temperatures, it's only a matter of time before that loses power too. A radio is sitting on the shelf, but unfortunately is of no use without anything to power it. An abandoned explorer's bag sits on the floor. Using the items in the bag and objects around the hut, teams must crack the code for the generator cupboard to get it up and running to power the radio, find the correct frequency for the Emergency Channel, and finally must work out their location so the Rescue Team can send help. Does your team have what it takes to Escape the Arctic in time? Watch this video for a preview! Pizza PartyOn Friday, May 21st, have a classic Pizza Party for your team! Prior to your pizza party, send everyone an invite AND ask them to reply with their favorite pizza and/or pizza topping. If you’re meeting virtually, you can also provide individuals with a spending allowance to order a personal pizza. On the day of the event, have everyone pause from their work and gather together (either in-person or on your preferred meeting platform) to enjoy a slice. While enjoying your pizza, encourage interaction by hosting a “match game” where individuals must match the pizza or pizza topping to the person who said it was their favorite. For instance, whose favorite pizza is pepperoni and mushroom? Is it Kerri, Lisa, or Mac? Or, who rarely gets to have their favorite pizza topping of anchovies on their family’s pizza? |
