Message from JOY News Presenter, Con KeramitsisJust over a year ago I made the decision to support the LGBTIQ+ community by volunteering my time at JOY 94.9 It’s been an amazing year ! My first step was becoming a member of JOY. Then I attended the JOY eight-week Radio Training course. I learnt so much about on-air presentation, interviewing techniques and media law. It really set me up. Now I’m part of the JOY News team - delivering daily news to all our listeners. News is a bit different at JOY because we always make sure the LGBTIQ+ stories get the coverage they deserve. Tune in each Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm to hear me reading the news on Australia’s only LGBTIQ+ radio station. Con Keramitsis Please keep listening, tell your friends and family about JOY 94.9 and our mission to make Australia a more inclusive place to live! |
