Notting Hill's First Cafe Bridge
Organised by Michael Brown with the help of Victor Lesk in aid of The ClementJames Centre (Details below). The sun always shines on Café Bridge (though not in an extreme fashion), and it is impossible not to have a good time, especially in the company of the friendliest bridge players imaginable.
What is Café Bridge?
-
A duplicate pairs bridge game set up in six - eight nearby cafés and restaurants.
-
Pairs move to a new venue after each round of 4 hands, guided by a movement card. Six rounds, 24 boards.
-
The fee, which covers all the organisation plus lunch at the players’ chosen venue and a contribution to the ClementJames Centre, is from £70 - £100 per pair. (£35-50 each)
-
Play starts at 10.45am and finishes at around 4pm, with an hour and fifteen minute break for lunch
