This week the South Australian government hosted a Defence Summit on issues surrounding the upcoming White Paper. As you would expect, Land 400 and submarines got more than a passing mention. But the whole event had more of a national focus than one would normally expect of a state based event.

In other news, the Tiger helicopter has finally achieved a much needed tactical data link upgrade with the news that the program now has government approval.

Senate Estimates for Defence are also taking place this week. Stay tuned for all the highlights in Defence Week, online and on social media.

Cheers,
