A MESSAGE FROM SCOTT HARDY

Good morning, everyone! It's the end of April and here in Phoenix we're skirting 38 degrees. As I look at my watch, it's 37. SO CLOSE but thankfully the ice on the Rillito River hasn't broken yet. That was a running joke in my hometown of Tucson. They'd say the ice was breaking on the Rillito River when it hit 38! Keep in mind that the "river" is dirt for the majority of the year (except for monsoon season when it can see some water), and as far as I know, has never had ice on it. These are both dad and desert people "jokes." I apologize in advance! Jokes ARE funnier when you explain them, right? No? Sheesh.

Well, as I was saying, it's starting to be a scorcher here. The nice thing is that PE takes on new meaning when you're homeschooling your kids! Their PE can become MY PE and, trust me, I NEED IT! So, today's PE will be jumping in the pool with my girls and driving Barkley the dog crazy. He'll run around the pool barking at us, and then once we're on a big floating mattress, he'll jump onto it from the side of the pool and splash with us. He has a tremendously good time, as do the kids, and it helps all of us rest tonight, LOL! The heat does that to us!

OK, on to more work! We've been very busy this week, working through some trials and tribulations, but at least we are WORKING! We haven't laid a single person off or furloughed any staff at TCA. In fact, we've hired some more full-timers since this all went down. We'll keep working, if you'll keep reading!

That's all for now! Make it a GREAT week! Can someone pass the sunscreen please???

Warm Regards,
Scott Hardy
President & CEO
