Welcome to the Eltis Mobility Update!

Over the last 18 months or so since its inception, the ENDURANCE project has been involved in valuable work helping to establish national Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) networks across countries in Europe.

It has also brought together representatives of cities, countries, projects and organisations to exchange their experiences of successful sustainable urban mobility measures. Our feature article this month focuses on the project’s best-practice and policy transfer activities.

In our case studies this month you can find out more about the awareness programme of France’s Ecomobilité Agency, which promotes shopping by bicycle in the Chambéry area, and how Barcelona’s public transport operator, TMB, went about integrating fully electric buses into its fleet.

As usual, we have our collection of events and news -  including the announcement that the registration for this year’s European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans is now open! Make sure you sign up as soon as possible to secure your place.

Happy reading!
