Hi Oh Amazing One,

What are ACE's and why I am so passionate that you know about them? The Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACE Study) is a research study conducted by the American health maintenance organisation Kaiser Permanente and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Participants were recruited to the study between 1995 and 1997 and have been in long-term follow up for health outcomes. Participants were asked a set of questions, 10 of them. Take the quiz yourself if you wish. ACE's are not rare. They are more common than we care to admit as a society. What the study found was that the higher your ACE score, the more likely you are to have diabetes, obesity, addiction, poor mental health and a number of other things.

In other words and to cut a very, very long story short, most difficulties that adults face with their health are PREVENTABLE and is a reaction to the interplay of our DNA and the experiences that we encounter in our environments from conception.

In 2016, Wales conducted their own study as did Northants, Luton and Hertforshire followed.

The film I am hosting, RESILIENCE, explains all of this beautifully and forms the basis of much of my training that I deliver in Schools, Social Care, Fostering, Adopters and anyone else who will listen.

In order to get this screen to be a confirmed and 'go live' on the cinema website, I need to sell a certain amount of tickets.  Please come and see the film and help me be get this into the public domain so that we can spread the message that people can recover and heal so that this cycle stops!

I know it's on at 9pm, I know it's a Monday evening (I tried to get another time but I couldn't.) I'm sorry about that. We will drink much coffee!

Thank you for your continued support and I trust that on some level this resonates with you and you can join us.

Please share

Much love
