Hahei Explorer: one-hour trip taking in the wonders of the marine reserve and Cathedral Cove

Kia Ora, and Hello!

It has been great to catch up with some of you recently, albeit from a distance, and we are delighted to welcome international visitors as our borders have reopened.  Our tourism businesses which operate in the international market have prepared for the return of their guests and we're looking forward to getting back to business.

We've updated our trade pages with the latest webinars for you to watch at your leisure, including an introductory guide to our region -  key reasons to include The Coromandel in your guests' itineraries and to help new staff to sell the region.

Hike & Bike Coromandel e-Bikes leaving the Coromandel Coastal Walkway

New Product

The remoteness of the Coromandel Coastal Walkway makes you feel like you are traversing New Zealand's last frontier, but it is easily accessible for a great day out from Coromandel Town.  Take the shuttle to walk the 10km coastal trail and your guide will meet you at the other end with afternoon tea and e-Bikes aboard if you'd like to bike back down the coast road.

Share our vision

Our region has long been known as a place where people care for the environment, it is part of our culture. Doing away with single use coffee cups is one small thing we can all do to eliminate a mountain of waste, literally, from going to landfills across the region.

Our Tip
: Please advise clients to use a keep cup when visiting The Coromandel.

Taking you to some new places:

Our Coromandel Brown Kiwi is visiting one of our must dos that is close to the usual routes,  but not so well-known.  It's popular with Kiwis of the human kind, though.

Clue: Get here on two legs, or two wheels.
