New and Noteworthy Technology in Q4 Rugged 'Apollo Lake' Embedded Computer "Harrier” from VersaLogic features Intel’s powerful 5th generation dual or quad core Apollo Lake processors, and up to 8 GB of soldered-on Error Correcting Code (ECC) memory for high-reliability applications. NVIDIA Quadro Pascal P2000 (GP107) 3U VPX Graphics & GPGPU Card EIZO Rugged Solutions has recently introduced the Condor GR5-P2000 3U VPX, delivering up to 2.3 TFLOPS of CUDA processing power. Intel Arria 10 SoC FPGA Development Kit The Achilles Arria 10 SoC Dev Kit from REFLEX CES includes an Intel Arria 10 SoM plus a starter board for quick prototyping and application testing. 3U VPX Xilinx UltraScale+ FPGA Board with FMC+ The WB3XB0 from Annapolis Micro Systems is a 3U VPX card providing one Xilinx Virtex UltraScale+ FPGA and an FMC+ mezzanine I/O site with stacking support, on-board Zynq Quad ARM CPU, and 1Gb Ethernet Switch. Solution in the Spotlight Tradecope is the first easy-to-use, ultra-low-latency trading system that allows anybody to benefit from pure hardware trade processing without the need for an in-house FPGA expert. Designed by Netcope Technologies, the Tradecope platform minimises latency by offloading full tick-to-trade execution into hardware. The tick-to-trade pipeline includes every step from receiving market data, through packet arbitration, message decoding, book building, trading strategy execution, risk check and order generation. All this is done with sub-microsecond latency thanks to the unique FPGA accelerated solution. Tradecope is delivered as a HW/SW solution composed of an FPGA network interface card with relevant firmware and an API including examples of software applications.
