6 Keys to Pinterest Success

What do all successful real estate agents on social media have in common? All of these agents have added Pinterest to their marketing strategy.

Using Pinterest effectively can directly result in increased sales and growth for their real estate business. So what does it take to be a thriving brand on Pinterest?

Use custom-formatted messages to elevate your Twitter feed

When considering what to write blog content about, consider the 4 Ws: Who, What, Why, When.

For instance, if you were going to write about "Advice for FSBOs” you would ask:

• Who am I talking to with this content?
• What is the central theme or topic that I am covering?
• Why does the reader need to know this?
• When should they take action?

Show value with LinkedIn

LinkedIn is all about interacting with others.  Keep the direct marketing tactics to a minimum. Instead, position yourself and your brand as a resource. By using the soft sell approach and asking those you connect with on how you can be of service to them, you will generate more business opportunities in the long run.

Use hashtags for Instagram success

One of the most popular hashtags on Instagram is #tbt. This stands for Throwback Thursday- it's a designated day where you can post old photos on your brand’s Instagram account.

Consider using pictures of your old office or vintage shots of sold homes with #tbt. Use of popular hashtags like this can broaden your brand's audience, allowing more potential leads to come into your marketing orbit.
