The ADF's deployable health solution (JP 2060 Phase 3) has to the risk mitigation activity stage, eliminating some bidders from the tender process. Phase 3 will introduce an modular and integrated medical and dental capability to the ADF, with Defence set to seek government approval in early 2020.

In other news, the Hunter-class build will use British Type 26 prototype blocks in a lesson from the AWD program, a report highlights a corrosion risk for RAAF Williamtown's F-35s, BAE makes aviation history with a 'flap-free' UAV, Flinders University seeks funding for a 'Future Factory', and an Arctic weapons range selects the Schiebel Camcopter for search and rescue operations.

We're thrilled to announce this year's Women in Defence Award finalists, who were chosen by a panel of judges from a extremely competitive list of almost 200 nominees. Full details are available on our Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter channels. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on July 11.
