Utility Team Hits the Beach
GUY's Utility Locating team recently headed north to Sunrise Beach, MO. Their mission was to locate public and private utilities on approximately five acres of raw land in this Lake of the Ozarks town. By using ground penetrating radar equipment, the Utilities team was able to locate and mark a gas main, telephone cable, and water main.
We are proud of GUY's Pete Ellis for representing civil engineering at the Engineers Week Student Breakfast on February 21! Pete enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for engineering with younger generations -- this is the fifth year in a row he has spoken at the annual breakfast in order to encourage students to explore civil engineering as a career field.
