Spring Is In The Air

With the days becoming longer and lighter it's time to come out from under the duvet and discover the new tastes of the season. Whether you're spoiling your mother rotten for Mother's Day (Sunday, 11 March to be exact), with daffodils at Daphne’s, cupcakes at Le Caprice and devilishly indulgent mini Annabel's chocolate cakes at The Mount Street Deli, or exploring our new seasonal dishes, we've got spring well and truly covered.

Quench Your Senses

Today, Sexy Fish will unveil its exciting new cocktail menu with pop up launches in London, Singapore and New York. Sexy Fish, Cocktails to Whet Your Senses, features a number of new serves including the graceful Japanese Kir, a gentle mix of falernum and koshu grace white wine, to the curious Neonach, a savoury serve of Hendrick’s Gin, salmon, basil, fennel and chilli oil. What’s more, the menu is presented as a cocktail cookbook, with each serve accompanied by a recipe, so guests can remake the drinks at home. The cocktail menu can be purchased at the bar at Sexy Fish for £15.

Guest Chefs: Mark Sargeant

The second instalment of J Sheekey Atlantic Bar’s guest chef series takes place on Tuesday, 17 April. A regular on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen & ITV’s This Morning, Michelin-starred chef Mark Sargeant prides himself on serving guests the freshest fish caught by local day boats at his Folkestone restaurant, Rocksalt. For his Atlantic Bar appearance, Sargeant’s menu will include sea bass served with crushed crab potatoes and brown crab ketchup. The four course menu will be served alongside a Plymouth Gin cocktail list, specially devised to complement Mark's menu. Tickets are priced at £50 per person. Click here to book.
