On average you pay 400% more to run a traditional bulb instead of an LED. LEDs last 15 times longer, AND the cost to buy one is dropping – you may find reputable brands on special for under $10.00.

Because there are different types of LED bulbs, it’s worth finding out which ones will be right for you. Find out more here.

If you are renting or about to move, replace your traditional bulbs with LEDs and take them with you when you leave (store and replace the old bulbs).

To get the best bang for your buck, start with a few LEDs in the rooms you light the most frequently.
