Monitoring and Evaluation workshop

29 March | 10.30am to 2.30pm | Edinburgh

Local Action Groups are invited to register two representatives for this workshop, organised by the Scottish Rural Network Support Unit.

The workshop is the culmination of work by a range of partners to find ways of enhancing Local Development Strategy M&E frameworks.

Video conferencing (VC) will be available for LAGs in Shetland, Outer Hebrides and Orkney if required.

Please register your attendees by 24 March.

There may be scope for more than two people per LAG to attend, or for an additional VC slot. For more information on this please email info@ruralnetwork.scot.

Opportunity to attend Swedish Rural Parliament

27-29 May | Visby

The Scottish Rural Network is proposing to support the costs of two Local Action Group (LAG) members from Scotland to attend the Swedish Rural Parliament 2016.

The Swedish Rural Parliament is one of the largest, and longest-established, gatherings for rural development in Europe. The theme of this year's event is 'Towards a balanced country'.

This is a great opportunity for Scottish LEADER LAG members to learn more about the role and function of rural parliaments and their relationships with LEADER.

If you are interested in attending the Swedish Rural Parliament please contact the Scottish Rural Network Support Unit by emailing info@ruralnetwork.scot by 24 March.
