And what a few months it has been for sport in Bristol! Tuesday night saw Bristol City play Man City at Ashton Gate in the second leg of the semi-final. Bristol gave it their best shot but unfortunately lost 2-3. It was a memorable night though for Bristol City fans. Let's hope we meet again in the Premier League next year! It has been a busy few months for us at Finders Keepers too! Here's a round-up of some of the events enjoyed by our clients throughout January. Test Match Cricket - Ashes disaster It has been an Ashes tour to forget for England, but that didn't stop one of our clients having a great time at the Sydney Cricket Ground. We are regaining a bit of pride as we are up 3-0 in the One Day Internationals. Clients enjoying incentive scheme rewards Throughout January many clients have been using their incentive scheme rewards, which included an overnight stay at Hotel du Vin, a driving experience day for two and an all expenses paid trip to Dublin. We all love a good incentive - enquire now for more information about our incentive scheme. The spectacular sights of Iceland We've organised, for a client, a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Reykjavik for the end of January for 12 people. The trip includes flights, private transfers, staying in a 4 star central hotel and a private trip to see the Golden Cirle and beautiful Blue Lagoon. Clients enjoyed great seats at the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour The live tour, which has received fantastic reviews, was enjoyed by client this month in the Barclaycard Arena with hospitality before the big show. Not to be missed events next monthSix Nations Rugby Come February, and the Six Nations will be in full swing. England host Wales at Twickenham in the Northern Hemisphere's rugby union showpiece, while another mouthwatering contest will be France taking on Ireland in Paris. Eddie Jones's England have made themselves a force to be reckoned with, storming to win the last two Six Nations, and will once again be the team to beat. Football in February and the start of Super League Rugby In football, the FA Cup reaches its fifth round, while the EFL Cup is the first major piece of silverware which can realistically be won by England's top sides. The final for that competition takes place at Wembley on Sunday 25th February. Also, the Champions League moves on to its quarter-final phase - which of the five English teams will still be left in the last eight? And as the weather begins to hint at spring, we see the return of the Super League season in rugby. Three 'crown jewels' of the British sporting calendarOur blog this month looks at three 'crown jewels' of the British sporting calendar. In the UK, us sports fans are spoiled by the sheer number of world famous events to choose from. Maybe it is because so many sports were born in the country, adding to the heritage which our sporting fixtures possess? This blog examines three occasions bound to capture attention around the world. Firstly Wimbledon, one of the coveted Grand Slams of tennis, then the British Grand Prix, when the premier motor sport series takes its stop at Silverstone, and finally the Cheltenham Festival, which for many, can represent the start of the social season which goes hand in hand with the sporting calendar in spring and summer. #TheresNothingQuiteLikeBeingThereThe morning after the incredible Bristol City v Man United game!
