It is important to celebrate the wins |
This month we put the spotlight on organisations and individuals who are successfully applying shared value for societal benefit and competitive gain at the 2018 Shared Value Awards. Our congratulations to those who have been shortlisted and I hope you will join us in Melbourne 18 October at the annual awards event as we celebrate along with the winners.
As our community expands we welcome Enel Green Power to the Shared Value Project. Their advancement in the renewable energy sector will give a much-needed boost to Australia’s energy economy and will no doubt inspire other organisations to adopt a shared value approach to addressing the energy needs of the nation.
I encourage you to listen to this month's podcast featuring our Chair, Peter Yates AM, and Daniel Epstein, CEO and founder of Unreasonable Group. Daniel is a passionate advocate for shared value. He is very clear that if companies make money out of solving problems and creating value, then the harder the problem they solve, the more value they create and the more valuable the business will be.
The SVP team and I look forward to seeing you at the awards event, 18 October.
Helen Steel
Chief Executive Officer
