NWTD May E-News Update The North West Transmission Developments (NWTD), being progressed by TasNetworks, include 240 km of new and upgraded transmission lines and other energy infrastructure that will increase the capacity of Tasmania's electricity network. The developments will enable Tasmania to become a world-leading renewable energy provider and support the decarbonisation of Australia. NWTD Interactive MapAn interactive map is now available on the Talk with TasNetworks website. Users can enter in an address to view its proximity to the proposed developments. The easements in this interactive map are indicative only and will vary depending on use, location, elevation and final technical design.
