You are reading this on what should have been the eve of our first Autocross event of the season, and the second event for our Region in 2020. Instead, this is just another Saturday night that we're all social distancing and staying apart. I chose Chris Brown's mustang wrap picture for the cover this month as it seemed fitting -- his car went through a major transformation, like all of us have this year. This is something none of us have ever experienced, and hopefully, we'll never have to again! Unfortunately, we're postponing 2 more events for the season. The Rallycross event on May 2, as well as the Autocross event on May 9 won't be taking place. The board voted to postpone both - as your health and safety is our main concern. Read through the entire Squeal this month - I put something fun in there for us to do as a community, and there's even some event discounts available for the winners! Keep It Classy (and Safe and Healthy) Susquehanna Welcome 2020 Sponsors!I'd like to welcome and thank a group of new sponsors that we have for 2020. We have 2 Flagship Sponsors - one for each program this year. We also have 2 new sponsors to announce, as well as the support from our continued sponsors. Autocross Flagship Sponsor - Blair Warner at Keiser's Garage - Blair is offering a 10% discount to any Susquehanna Region member - so make sure to give him a call. Rallycross Flagship Sponsor - Don Westbrook at Westbrook Enterprises - he has agreed to take care of the very important job of lot maintenance for our dirty racers. Schaedler Yesco - Provides electrical services for all commercial, industrial and residential supply needs. PerformanceDetailz - Darian Taggart, Owner, provides the best possible care for your vehicles, including detailing, polishing, paint protection films and much more. Our returning sponsors are: Tom Hamm Photography We wouldn't be able to have nearly as much fun with cars as we do without our sponsors. Make sure you support them (stay local!) - and thank them for their support. Solo Safety Steward Training - May 14Interested in becoming a Solo Safety Steward? Need credits for your current license? We have just the thing - take the online SSS Webinar! It's happening on Thursday, May 14 at 7:00pm. If you're interested, please sign up below. The course is free! We'll send you more information as we get closer to the 14th. If you have any questions about this, please email us at autocross@scca-susq.com Coloring Contest!Since none of us are able to go out and enjoy our cars or each other, I've been trying to think of something fun that we can all do as a Region. I came up with a coloring contest. Here's why - coloring relieves stress, it's fun and mindless, and it's something that we can do together or as a family. Plus - there's an added incentive - we will be judging these and the top three winners get discounts off of a future Susquehanna event. You can make some money while de-stressing! Rules:
