Mission Moments from last week's events
This year, teaching artists from across the writing world hosted Friday Night Salons that allowed our community to stretch their minds and dream big.
Queens native and O. Henry Prize recipient, Daphne Palasi Andreades, will discuss drawing from what we intimately know—our lived experiences, our hometown, our family—and combining this with our imagination to fill in the blanks.
Work one-to-one with an editor on your piece, ask questions about submission requirements or get technical help with a software or tool you’re not sure how to use!
Writers and leaders like Anaís are shaping culture, creating change and impacting the world: Join the Movement!
For more than two decades, we’ve been a proud community of diverse, multigenerational writers and creators. We know the power of their stories to connect, challenge and transform. Now, we are also a destination. Our collection of hundreds of multimedia stories—growing every day—will warm your heart, give you chills, inspire action and resonate on a soul-deep level in a way that helps you feel less alone. That’s our great hope, and this is only the beginning.
