The big news this week of course is Budget 2018, and we open Defence Week with ADM's coverage of Defence spending, personnel numbers, and the government's investments in Australia's space industry, including $26 million towards the establishment of a national space agency that will coordinate domestic space activities.

In other news, Australia's investments in space gain the attention of Ukraine, ADM attends DST Group's symposium on emerging and disruptive technologies in human biotech, we also speak with Fincantieri Australia CEO Dario Deste about the latest contract with WA's Hofmann Engineering, a KC-390 ventures beyond the end of a runway, and Australia's first UAS maintenance training program arrives.

There's plenty of new tenders out this week, including a 'ThinkCamp' for Plan Jericho - view them here.
