Happy holidays No images? Click here Kua Kawhe, great coffee, in a keepcupKia ora,We wish you a happy festive season, the chance to catch up with family and friends (maybe on your single day off ) and many relaxed holidaymakers enjoying our beautiful backyard. We'll be continuing the Where Kiwis holiday campaign in the new year to remind travellers that late summer is a great time to visit after the heightened buzz of the Christmas-New Year break. This will include targeted activity to east coast Australia. Do tag us on social so we can share the fun to be had at your place. We'll also be asking visitors to reinforce the sustainable actions that you have been taking to restore and protect the unique natural landscapes and marine environments, native wildlife and cultural heritage of our home. Everyone has their part to play, whether it's using a keep cup, washing the boat on the grass or taking a guided tour. 2022 saw borders reopen and international travel resume - with businesses trying to recruit staff and prepare for summer and airlines and airports struggling to keep up with demand. We acknowledge that it has not been an easy time, and it is definitely not back to business as we knew it. This is where all the work that has been collectively undertaken on Destination Management Planning will give us a base to rebuild our tourism industry on the strong regenerative aspirations of our business owners and operators and our communities. We look forward to implementing that planning with you next year. Leaving our place better for future generations. We all wish you a Merry Christmas and a sensational start to 2023.
