We are excited to announce that iMentor has partnered with BetterHelp-the world's largest therapy provider -to provide our Post-Secondary Program mentees with FREE and UNLIMITED access to virtual counseling and therapy. Mentees will be receiving an email from BetterHelp with an invitation to access the service via a unique link where you can create an account. More info to come!

COOP TECH
The COOP Tech Program has opened their applications for the SPRING 2021 term. Their programs are for youth between the ages of 17-21 who are NOT in college. For most of their programs, their deadline is January 4th, 2021.
Some of their programs include: Carpentry, Culinary Arts, Construction, Welding, Web Design, Barbering, Pluming, Medical Health Careers, Electrical Installation and so much more.
Breakthrough Technology Fellowship
The Breakthrough Tech Fellowship is a new program from Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation (Restoration) in partnership with The Marcy Lab School. The program will equip you with the skills, portfolio, and network necessary to navigate the job search and technical interview process. The program starts in February, apply here.
Career Training Programs at Educational Opportunity Center
Are you looking for a certification or vocational program? The EOC offers FREE programs. Some of their offerings include the Certified Nursing, Direct Support Professional, Security Guard Training and EMT Programs, to name a few. EOC Programs are offered at the Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center, Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center and the Bronx Educational Opportunity Center.

Transfer Workshop
Come join the iMentor PSP Team as we host our first transfer workshop! At this event, we will review fit factors and schools that meet your criteria, complete transfer applications, pay of up to $100 of students’ transfer application fees, and share important roles that mentors can serve during each step of the transfer process. Attendance is required for any student in our transfer program!
NYC Accelerator Internship Program and Online Boot Camp
The NYC Accelerator Boot Camp is a free, one-day remote training program for CUNY students who are interested in internships and careers in the fields of energy and sustainability, facilities management, and public policy. Students who complete the boot camp as well as a series of online training sessions will be eligible to apply for the NYC Accelerator Internship Program.

Join Swipe Out Hunger as a CUNY Student Navigator. Navigators will earn $15 per hour and work 15 hours per week maximum from January through March 2021, with paid training starting in December and a possibility of extending until May.
