WMMD Dealing with Change Programme

Dear Colleagues,

This programme has been developed to support museum staff at a time of unprecedented change.

Whether for continued professional development or because you’re facing a specific change, this training will be an opportunity to improve personal resilience by understanding the mechanics of change and learning essential skills to make change an opportunity rather than threat.

The second workshop deals with influencing the direction of change and is relevant to the entire organisation.

The deliverer, Wanjiku Nyachae has worked internationally with organisations including UNESCO and Ashridge Business School, as well as professional individuals experiencing change. She will translate the theory to useful skills and techniques you can to help you adapt and thrive.

Wanjiku will deliver two sets of workshops twice, One set for local authority museums and the second for non-local authority.

All workshops will take place at the Library of Birmingham, 9.00 am – 5.30 pm with refreshments and lunch provided on the following dates:

For local authority museums:

Tuesday 23 February and follow up workshop on Friday 11 March
