Hi there.

The first half of October has been a busy one!

We've welcomed lots of new members to PT, Morning Bootcamp and Group PT.

The 1-2-1 Nutrition Coaching programme also continues to grow and we've maintained our 100% success rate, which is a testament to the attitude, enthusiasm and mindset of the members.

We've introduced Group PT Squad 6 (Mon & Thurs 5.15pm) so we have a nice spread of time slots to accommodate everyone as much as possible.

We've also made some improvements to the studio with a new insulated suspended ceiling that will help to regulate the temperature and humidity and provide a consistent and comfortable training environment. 

All in all - a busy and productive month so far!

Don't forget that it's measurements week next week (W/C 22/10/18) so be sure to wear your favourite gear for the progress pictures!

Post-Summer Blues​

Feeling tired? CBA? Craving carbs? Lost your mojo? Eating more than usual? You’re probably not alone! I’ve spoken to at least half a dozen clients who are struggling after the summer holidays.

Guys, it’s very common! I’m not saying you should use it as an excuse to say sod it and undo all the hard work so far but try not to get too baffled and and frustrated by it!

The Reach Star of the Season award for September to December is the one that I always think is the hardest to win because summer is over and there are fewer short-term incentives, such as beach holidays etc.

If you need any extra help then give me a shout. A big part of the 1-2-1 nutrition coaching is helping you get through the difficult periods. I can’t do the work for you and I’m not a magician but I am there to help as much as I can.

Reachmas Fun​

You will see on the whiteboard in the studio that we’ve planned a Reach Christmas night out.

The plan is to start off the evening with some fun at one of the escape room places in Leeds. You know the kind of thing - get locked in a room and try and get out!

We’ve not yet fully decided which one it will be but it will definitely be in Leeds because it will be followed by drinks in Leeds city centre!

I won’t counting calories that evening (did you know that 1g of alcohol has 7 calories?) and I can’t promise that the drinks will be calorie free (certainly not the cocktails that I might have a go at) but they definitely should be guilt free.

It would be awesome to see as many of you possible to celebrate a fantastic year of hard work and results, so don’t be shy and get your name down on the board!!

Saturday Performance

A couple of people have mentioned to me that they would like to come to the Saturday morning Performance sessions but they are a bit scared, with phrases like “letting people down” and “not fit enough”.

You don't need to worry!!! 

Absolutely everything is scalable, which means it can be made harder or easier. There is no requirement to go any faster than you are able to. It is completely suitable for everybody so no need to be scared.

Yes, the sessions are hard, but so is every session at Reach. The Saturday morning Performance workouts are always a good laugh so don’t procrastinate any more.

Remember, it’s FREE to Reach Bootcamp, Private PT and Group PT clients so no excuse not to come and try it! Why not bring a friend - it's only £5 PAYG for non-members!
