Hi everyone welcome to this edition of Lisa Loves.

Congratulations to Team GB and their overwhelming success at the Rio Olympics. Many personal achievements including Mo at the double double, Max Whitlock gymnastics double gold and the golden romance of Jason Kenny and Laura Trott in the velodrome.

Sticking with Rio, many of you maybe aware from recent press that my friend  Charlie Webster ended up fighting for her life in hospital with a rare form of Malaria following successful completion of the Ride to Rio challenge, which I talked about in June's Lisa Loves. Thankfully as I write Charlie is now out of the medically induced coma and firmly on the road to recovery, and we all at Lisa Franklin HQ wish her a speedy recovery.

Events coming soon to look out for include the Totally Thames festival running for the whole of September,  London Fashion Week 2016, Open House and the London Design Festival including the Regents Street Window installations.

Whatever you get up to over the coming weeks I hope you enjoy.

A Closer Look

The Pro Effect Luminescent Base contains sodium hyaluronate, which has a smaller molecular size than standard Hyaluronic Acid (making it especially penetrative), and is able to hold more water than any other natural substance—up to 1,000     times its weight.

Thanks to these attributes, when applied to the skin it penetrates deep down into the dermis to combine with, maintain and attract water whilst promoting skin/blood microcirculation and nutrient absorption. Thanks to its super-sized hydrating properties, sodium hyaluronate results in smoother, softer skin with decreased wrinkles and an all-around plumping effect.

Life is shining in...

I love the Good Life Eatery, plenty of healthy options available from superfood salads and soups to some amazing cold pressed juices and smoothies. You can even customise your smoothie by adding toppings and add-ons when you need that extra shot of nutrients or when you need to up your protein intake. This place is popular,  the queue at the Sloane Avenue branch is often extends out the door, and with what's on offer inside it's easy to see why.

Treatment Focus

Enzyme Retexturing Treatment

The Perfect treatment to correct the signs of summer sun damage the Enzyme Retexturing Treatment is a highly active fruit enzyme resurfacing solution. The unique blend of fruit enzymes exfoliates dead skin cells and promotes skin renewal. The unique experience also includes brightening enhancers, followed by targeted treatment serums to address each skin concern. The result is a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, while soothing and maintaining hydration.

Remember to apply products in the correct order, applying serums and gels first followed by thicker creamier formulations. Applying the heavier creams first will block absorption of the lighter products and effect the benefits of their specialised ingredients.

Uttanasana

This asana helps increase the circulation of blood in the face, neck, and head. It helps to relax the facial muscles and balance out the hormones, thereby promoting healthy skin.

Stand straight and place your hands on your hips. Inhale. Then, bend your hip as you exhale. Your hands must be placed on the floor beside your feet. The feet must be parallel to each other. Push your torso forward as you extend the stretch and lift the tailbone. Hold for a few seconds and release.
