LAKESIDE NEWS FROM THE SPIRES

A Note From Our Team

June has finally arrived. Our month, our time, our future.  It feels a bit surreal and I have only been working towards this day since November.  In October of 2018 a group of  visionaries and pioneers looked over an old quarry- a beautiful, undeveloped piece of land on the Berry College campus, and helped break ground.  In June of 2020, the first of those pioneers are moving into the lovely community called The Spires at Berry College.

The effort that has been put forth by so many people is being rewarded with this new world that was envisioned quite a long time ago.  Those big bold events have resulted in what we will call home.  The beauty of this new campus is real.  Beginning our work here has overwhelmed us in so many ways.  The allure of your new home is substantial.  The emotion we have felt is sincere.

The first Berry students arrived and added another level of excitement.  They are learning about The Spires and what an honor it is to have been chosen to join us.  They share in our thrill for being here to assist you, our pioneers to continue in this next experience of your daring life.

As we greet each of you as you walk through the door into your latest adventure, know that we are alive with activity and focus.  You are the heart of our community.  Your quality, enjoyment and purpose of life are our focal points.   YOU are what we have been missing. Our yearning  and missing you is over.  JUNE IS HERE and you will be soon!

Fondly,

Laurie Steber
