This month ... Tracy attended an amazing event at Birmingham’s Hippodrome where, Sir Matthew Bourne compared theatre life to business life. There will be more events like these coming up, they are well worth attending. Well of course, we have to mention our holidays, Tracy having visited Crete with all of her family, and having an amazing time. Julia visited Cornwall, again seeing lots of family and friends, for some quality down time. So wonderful to recharge isn’t it, where have you all been? We’re busy on a number of projects currently, working with our new IT company Compex IT to not just support our IT, but help us get ready for GDPR and Cyber Essentials. Cyber Essentials is a government scheme aimed at helping companies be secure and choose suppliers who are also secure. Public sector organisations will ask that their suppliers be Cyber Essentials Certified so if you want to have a competitive edge it’s important to get ready; we can highly recommend Compex IT for their proactive approach. You can read more about the scheme here We’re still working on our recruitment, looking for the right person to join us. The role is a combination of Business Development, Telesales and marketing skill sets, working 21 hours over 3 days at our office in the Jewellery Quarter. If you know someone who’s keen to grow with an expanding company, please pass on our details.
Did you know? We’ll be exhibiting here on the 5th September, in partnership with Nat West, celebrating the anniversary of Small Business Advice Week . Come along, we’d love to see you!
Sales Tip 8 steps to get your data ready for sales campaigns. We’ve done it ourselves, bought a list of data, and cracked on with calling it, perhaps looking up the odd name on LinkedIn here and there, without properly looking into and researching the companies. But we absolutely know, that lists need to be properly researched and planned to have the best campaign possible. Read our getting ready list here
Thank you
Thanks so much to Alison Trinder at The Black Country Chamber who referred a potential client to us this month, we have received so much help and support as members, it’s well worth being part of if you are not already. And also a BIG thank you goes to Richard Hunter-Rice of Minerva Growth, again, for two fantastic referrals. We think it must be time for a thank you lunch!
