Launch of the Spring Summer activities

A growing dynamic at the Green Mango centre thanks to your support!

With the end of the rain season, the access to the centre is more easy and the inhabitants of the Poleni Village, mainly farmers, have more time to attend literacy, IT, English, French, art and sewing (in fully equipped premises thanks to Femmes d'Europe Aisbl). 2 days are booked exclusively for the IT courses for the Lobe School where 4 students benefiting from a scholarship study and already have recovered from their backlog. High demand for IT courses could be met with the new material offered by the Lions Club Amitiés Luxembourg and the Municipality of Woluwe-st-Lambert.

STOP single use plastic

As associated Member of IMSLUX we attended the Sustainability Forum on 25 April, insisting also on the reduction of waste of energy, food and water.

Women coaching

We are grateful to Dr Kilume for the training session and to Arthur, Evaristine and Marine for their coaching of literacy and sewing courses given at the centre.

From introduction to IT to coding

Coding courses start in July (design of adapted games and apps) thanks to the help of a Congolese IT engineer and the  new tablets and  internet router.
