PRIMARY CARE MEMORY CLINICS COMING TO UNDERSERVICED COMMUNITIES
The Council of Academic Hospital of Ontario and Health Quality Ontario jointly announced the ARTIC Program’s spread of 17 new Primary Care Memory Clinics to rural, remote and underserviced communities across Ontario.
These clinics - now numbering 102 - are a proven model of care, helping people living with memory problems access a team of primary care professionals all specially trained in dementia care.

CENTRAL EAST LHIN CLINICAL QUALITY LEAD ANNOUNCED
Congratulations Dr. David Borenstein! Dr. Borenstein is the Scarborough and Rouge Hospital’s Emergency Department Director of Quality Improvement, a member of the License Appeal Tribunal of Ontario for the Ministry of the Attorney General and a lecturer with the University of Toronto’s Department of Community and Family Medicine.

NEW ONTARIO PALLIATIVE CARE NETWORK WEBSITE LAUNCHED
The Ontario Palliative Care Network is a province-wide partnership of patients, families and caregivers, healthcare providers and organizations, and health system planners. The network is working to ensure all Ontarians have access to high-quality hospice palliative care, regardless of age, illness, or where they live in the province.
Health Quality Ontario is a contributing member of the Ontario Palliative Care Network leadership, with Cancer Care Ontario, Ontario Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) and the Quality Hospice Ontario Palliative Care Coalition.
