Program to Help Minority- & Women-Owned Businesses
The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) have partnered on a new program to better position minority- and women-owned small businesses for various local, state and government contracts. Called the Small Business Bonding Readiness Assistance Program, it provides training courses and workshops for companies to learn more about bonding and best business practices.

Mark Your Calendars: "Resources for Growth" Event
The NJBAC and New Jersey Chamber of Commerce are pleased to offer small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn about free and low-cost government resources to grow your company. The event will be held at Rowan University in Glassboro on Thursday, January 16th beginning at 2 p.m. EST. Attendees will hear from the Honorable Tahesha Way, New Jersey's Secretary of State, as well as representatives of the NJBAC, NJEDA, NJ Department of the Treasury, NJ State Library, NJ Board of Public Utilities, Small Business Development Center, the UCEDC and others.
