NMI FPGA Network – Design Tools & Methodologies

NMI will be hosting this event, allowing members to share experiences of how FPGA design tools and methodologies impact build schedules, solve difficult problems, affect quality, optimise architecture and bridge hardware and software communities.
Chad Hamilton from BittWare is presenting a paper entitled "FPGA Platform Development Kit Enables Fast TTM", and DAVE Embedded Systems will be showcasing their Xilinx Zynq based hardware and talking to engineers about Asymmetric Multi Processing on Cortex-A CPUs.

Video: Intel Xeon (Skylake) Single Board Computer
The Trenton Systems TKL8255 is a PICMG 1.3-compliant single board computer driven by an Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 v5 (Skylake) processor.
This SBC features support for DDR4 system memory, native PCIe 3.0 links, USB 3.0, three video ports and an on-board M.2 connector for supporting a plug-in NVMe storage module. The TKL8255 single board computer is covered by a five-year factory warranty.
First Look: Rugged H.265 (HEVC) Video Encoder
The Tyton VS2 from EIZO Rugged Solutions is a rugged small form factor box-level video encoding and streaming solution, designed for use in harsh field environments.
The MIL-STD-810G and IP67 compliant Tyton VS2 is capable of capturing two 3G-SDI inputs simultaneously and encoding them using the highly versatile H.265 (HEVC) or H.264 (AVC) video encoding standards.
