AUGUST 5: LETTERS WITH YOUNG WRITERS

Forbes and Girls Write Now meet for an intergenerational exchange through the act of letter writing. Young writers, “Mentees For The Day”, and Forbes employees, “Mentors For The Day”, will be led by a Girls Write Now facilitator through a series of prompts to help each other through this unusual and anxiety-producing time. Mentees have a unique opportunity to share their experiences, write alongside media professionals, and learn how Forbes employees are adapting to the unexpected. Mentors learn about the concerns of diverse NYC youth during the time of COVID-19 and a growing movement for racial justice.
