In Full Bloom:
Spring 2015 Service-Learning EXPO

Thank you to all who presented at, attended, and helped plan the  immensely successful Spring 2015 Service-Learning EXPO!  The EXPO highlighted the scope of this semesters' student scholarship, learning outcomes, and community partnerships.

Students, campus and community partners joined the #SLEXPO2015 conversation here!

We encourage you to peruse the program booklet to view the range of presenters, as well as view our photo highlights!

Congratulations Macey Miller,
Winner of the 2014-2015
Course-Community Collaboration Award

The Course-Community Collaboration Award celebrates Northeastern's Service-Learning faculty, students, teaching assistants, and community partners who have made an exceptional impact through their partnership. As part of her Social Movement Communication course with faculty member Greg Goodale,  4th-year Communication Studies and Political Science student Macey Miller  served with BalletRox this past fall. Macey was nominated by two staff members at BalletRox for her outstanding commitment and contributions to their organization.

It was clear from day one that BalletRox had won the lottery when Macey was assigned to our organization!

2015 Community Service Leadership Award

Congratulations to the four 2015 Community Service Leadership Awardees: Brooke Hoger, Hannah Kilfoye, Kayla Scholl, and Jess VandenBoom. Brooke, Hannah and Kayla have been extremely active in the Service-Learning Program over the years as students and S-L teaching assistants. Brooke and Kayla also served as S-L team managers this past year. Congratulations!
