Intel Stratix 10, Arria 10 and Xilinx UltraScale+ VU13P FPGAs
Last week at the ISC High Performance show, BittWare announced 3 new PCIe FPGA boards. Each board features the new Spider and Viper platforms, designed with a thermals first approach for cooling today's very large FPGAs.
Building on the successful XUPP3R UltraScale+ 3/4-Length PCIe board, the XUPVV4 adds 50% more logic (3.8M total), the Viper platform for excellent passive thermal performance (active available), 4x 100GbE, new dual UltraPort SlimSAS interfaces (16x 24Gbps), and up to 512GB DDR4 (QDR-II+ available).
High Performance Audio Technology
Danville Signal Processing works with OEM/ODMs to create DSP enabled crossovers, high quality headphone DACs using USB Audio Class 2 and multi-channel delivery systems.
The dspMusik 2/8 is a popular example. It is a stereo in, eight out multi-channel DAC platform, suitable for high performance DSP loudspeaker crossovers, music decoders and many other high quality audio algorithm applications.
TOPAZE-D: ECRIN Systems 3U VPX Solution based on Intel Xeon-D
The team at ECRIN Systems is working on a standard multi-slot conduction cooled computer based on Xeon D that will be able to address a wide range of Open VPX architectures in one Small Form Factor (SFF), ARINC 404 or ARINC 600 compliant chassis.
The system will be ideal for Radar, Sonar, EW, SIGINT, ELINT and SDR programs.
Tyton VS2 Gets Aggressive in Low Cost SWaP Applications
EIZO Rugged Solutions is positioning Tyton VS2 aggressively against competitors in SWaP comparisons.
Beyond being the most mature HEVC (H.265) solution for Military/Rugged applications, Tyton VS2 offers two channel density in a small, lightweight form factor. Adding in class leading pricing, gives an excellent SWaP comparable to competing solutions.

The Cyber Essentials scheme was developed by the Government and industry to help organisations protect themselves against common cyber attacks.

New Video: NXP i.MX6 Ultra Lite is a low power high efficiency CPU designed for low power IoT applications, but the device also has some interesting video capabilities for simple HMIs. In this video DAVE Embedded Systems shares some results they obtained on this platform based on NXP i.MX6 UL.
