100% of Ticket Sales Were Donated to Girls Write Now

We had a blast at the Ain't Foolin' Us Fundraiser on April Fools Day. Girls Write Now mentee Morgan Lin and mentee alum Sheyla Javier read their poems on the main stage, and more mentees and alumni were able to share their work during an open mic. The festival at ArtsDistrict Brooklyn featured performances by Lion Babe, Susu, Big Body Kweeng, Synead, Hannah Noelle Enomoto, Miss Sabado, and so many other amazing femme performers.

All interns will participate in Macmillan's third annual summer intern project. Interns will attend workshops hosted by internal employees to help inform their projects as well as to delve deeper into the field. Teams will also work closely with their assigned employee mentor to guide their project and provide insightful feedback as the project progresses. At the conclusion of the internship, each team will present their project to a panel of judges.
