Give What You Can Day
April 22This Earth Day (April 22) will be Give What You Can Day, where any donation amount makes you a member. Please share with your network—it is a great opportunity to get new folks involved. On April 22, our homepage will link to the donation page. If your chapter is hosting an Earth Day event, don't forget to add it to the SFUSA calendar.
We are actively recruiting merchants for the Taste Marketplace. Do you know a maker of a good, clean, and fair food or beverage? Encourage them to join the superb bevy of makers at Slow Food Nations in Denver this July 20-21! The Taste Marketplace takes place in plain-air on Larimer Square, where merchants sample and sell their products to over 25k Slow Food enthusiasts over the course of the weekend. We’ve compiled some digital assets for merchant
outreach. If you would like some postcards to share with potential merchants, please let us know. Early-bird registration ends May 1!
We are packing up the last kits this week and we're offering a special discount before we close this Spring campaign! In honor of our earthly mothers and mother earth, we're offering free shipping and $5 off on the remaining Plant a Seed kits! Send one to your mom, or her mom, or yourself, or someone you wish was your mom, or really anyone who might love this year's Plant a Seed kit! Order now and mom (or you!) will get her kit before Mother's Day.
