In this week's Premium newsletter we see F-35 proving it can play as part of the naval integrated fire control construct otherwise known as NIFC-CA.

At HMAS Albatross the final Romeo SeaHawk has been delivered as a new support facility for the type is opened. New prospects for more advanced manufacturing at Fisherman's Bend have been realised with the Victorian Government's purchase of the ex-Holden site and the Submarine Institute has sought to dispel the belief that a nuclear powered submarine was a viable replacement for Collins.

In other news the Indonesia's new frigate has completed trials and Boeing and Saab unveil their contender for the USAF's T-X program.

ADM's Defence Estate and Base Services Summit will take place next Wednesday in Canberra – we look forward to seeing some of you there,
