[Raytheon Julie]

In the nick of time before Easter, this Defence Week covers Future Submarine negotiations which should have been completed by now, also Katherine Ziesing reports on the recent discussion regarding the ADF's readiness - or not - for High Intensity Warfare.

In other news we look at the increasing use of counter-UAS solutions with the forthcoming Commonwealth games a case in point. And South Korea joins the F-35 club in a material sense with their rollout ceremony in Forth Worth last night.

This is my final Defence Week for ADM as I head off to a new challenge working for the NSW Department of Industry - it's been a great pleasure working with the team and reporting on the multi-faceted and diverse landscape that is the Australian defence sector - I'll certainly be keeping an eye on developments in the space, particularly with regard to industry development. Thanks for all of your support and I'm sure you'll extend the same to my replacement, Ewen Levick, as he takes over at ADM's Sydney desk,
