Celebrating T1 Samples in 4 days!

Somehow in the midst of the chaos of the last few months we missed the fact that our sister company, Adept Precision passed its 4th birthday back in May!

The current climate is a challenge for any business but being a relatively young tooling and moulding company, it could have been tough.

However, with the support of Plunkett Associates behind it, Adept has held its own and continues to grow, embracing the mantra that we are large enough to get you what you want, when you want it, and small enough to care.

Our latest project for a local company illustrates this perfectly – 4 working days from initial enquiry highlighting the concept, to moulded T1 samples – and that includes the design!

We’ve had our new toy a couple of weeks now! 

So, what are our plans for the 3D Systems Figure 4 Standalone 3D Printer?

Well, we have several long-standing suppliers who produce incredible 3D printed parts and we have no intention of trying to replicate their services, we have no need to, they’re so good at it!

At the moment what we can say is we are ‘experimenting!’ Our aim is to develop the ability to economically produce low volume silicone components. To be able to turn around prototype quantities in 2 to 3 days, will allow us to fill the gaps we have identified in the market.
