We open this week with ADM's executive summary of the Defence Industrial Capability Plan, which was launched in Canberra by Minister for Defence Industry Christopher Pyne earlier this week. The document introduces a list of industrial capability priorities and emphasises the importance of a significant Australian presence for defence companies.

In other news, the JORN support handover begins, three RAN ships visit Vietnam following a confrontation with the Chinese navy in the South China Sea, Rheinmetall's SkyShield is bought by an unnamed Asian nation, veteran-owned talent mobility platform BenchOn raises money to expand nationwide, SoldierOn seeks federal funding for a new veterans centre ahead of the Invictus Games, and Northrop Grumman awards STEM scholarships to ANU Students.

The ADM team will also be on deck for CIVSEC next week in Melbourne. Please stop by our stand 2B13 and say hi to the team and grab your copy of the magazine.

Tickets for ADM's Women in Defence Awards are selling fast, with tables and individual seats available here.
