After seven months of continued development, I am proud to announce the first production ready release 1.0.0 of Hyn unobtrusive multi tenancy for Laravel 5.1 LTS.

Release

This first stable release allows you to create any SaaS-like application or run multiple customer sites on one Laravel installation. Separation of your websites, while still allowing full use of shared, global functionality is the main focus of this package.

I'd love to hear how you've implemented the package. Send in a reply telling your (soon to be) success story and if you want, I'd love to promote it.

Additionally you can find me on gitter, the package has its own channel. This is currently the most direct method of assistance.

Next up

The reason for publishing the package at this stage is that it is stable. A few things were on my list have to wait, amongst others additional commands for managing the multi tenant installation. These will be pushed back to a later minor release.

Another feature I'd preferred to have added before release is the ability to manage SSL certificates. With the release of Let's Encrypt I plan to add this natively with the ability to override with a custom certificate. This will take a bit longer to implement, hence it's put on the list for an upcoming version.

Docs

Currently I'm in the process of rewriting the documentation. The initial explanation from the readme has been restructured. In the holidays I'll continue improving them.

Closure

Having released version 1.0.0 I can now evaluate the future this package should have. I'd love to hear your feedback and requests for features as well.
