Industry Placement Card

To support learners transitioning from the classroom into the workplace, the construction industry is introducing the Industry Placement Card. The card displaying the construction skills certification scheme logo will be available from September and is for learners aged sixteen (or above). Read more.

AQP card applications simplified

A recent review of the AQP card identified the need to simplify the application process. From August 2021 applicants will no longer need to select a qualification grouping when applying for an AQP card. Applicants will simply need to confirm that they are applying for the AQP card and then select the appropriate qualification from the list provided. Read more.

Shopfitting occupations transferred to SICCS

CSCS is notifying the industry that all shopfitting occupations are being transferred to the SICCS scheme. SICCS is the card issuing scheme for the shopfitting sector and is managed by the National Association of Shopfitters and Interior Contractors (NAS). Read more.

CICES membership recognised by CSCS

CSCS is pleased to announce that members of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) can use their memberships when applying for cards. CICES members will need to provide proof of their current membership grade. Read more.

How to check a CSCS card

There are a number of ways to check if a CSCS is legitimate and valid. Checking cards is an important part of keeping sites safe by keeping out expired and fake cards.
