The beautiful image at the top of our newsletter was taken at last weekend's Remembrance Day service attended by all pupils.  

This week, Sedbergh School International Limited is delighted to have announced a new collaboration with EQuest Education Group to offer British educational programs in Vietnam. Peter Marshall, Managing Director of Sedbergh School explains that, "Our commitment is for the long term in supporting the school to deliver excellence in all aspects of education and provide new opportunities for Vietnamese students in pursuing careers at home or abroad".

Meanwhile, three enthusiastic scientists from the school joined forces to establish “Chemical Curiosities,” a new academic society for budding chemists. Their aim is to create a platform that ensures the school’s dedicated chemists have the opportunity to nurture their interests both now and in the future. The debut presentation on Friday evening was conducted by Benedict, who delved into a discussion on the tumultuous history of chemistry misuse. 

A reminder to book your tickets for our upcoming events. Our performance of Grease! will run from 29th November to 1st December and the Chapel will host the Ceremony of Carols on the 8th December and the Carol Service on 10th December. A full list of upcoming events is on the School website.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge; Roger Lupton Scholarship

The Christmas Challenge is run by The Big Give. This year, our Big Give Champions have committed to contributing £20,000. To access these funds, we require an equal amount in matching donations—your assistance is crucial in achieving this.

If you're not a Champion for 2023 but wish to back The Big Give in funding a spot for underprivileged students at Sedbergh, please submit your donations between midday on Tuesday, November 28th, and midday on Tuesday, December 5th. Contributions made outside of these times won't qualify for matched funding.
