Changes to intake processes for community paediatric services in Sydney Local Health District
Reminder, recent changes that came into effect on 12 October 2016 require all enquiries and referrals to the Community Paediatric, Developmental Assessments, Branches, Dual Diagnosis, ADHD/ Encopresis/ Enuresis clinics to be made via the Child Health Information Link (CHIL). The change was part of a wider initiative being undertaken within the Child and Family Health Services Directorate to improve the pathway for families wishing to access the services. The change only affects how referrals are managed and no changes were made regarding the type of clinical services provided to families. CHIL will be staffed by dedicated allied health intake officers and supported by
administration officers. Click here to see the original communication of the announcement changes.
