In 2040, Gwinnett County will be the largest county in metro Atlanta. That's just one of the surprising details from ARC's county level population forecasts, which show how the region's population, demographics and job growth are changing in each county in the Atlanta Region.

Transit Bills Highlight of 2016 Legislative Session

The good news from Georgia’s recently completed 2016 legislative session includes an opportunity for Atlanta residents to vote for increased MARTA funding. Other successes include advances for aging services and workforce development.

Water District Wins Award for Conservation Efforts

The Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District (Metro Water District) won a Fulcrum Award from Southface this spring in recognition of the tremendous progress the region has made in water conservation and stewardship.

ARC BOARD

The next meeting of the ARC board will be April 27 at 1 p.m at the Atlanta Regional Commission, 40 Courtland St. NE, Atlanta.

The ARC Board meets at 1 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month, January through October, and the first Wednesday of December. Agendas and minutes of each meeting are available online.
