Tell Us About Your Experience with FNHA Health Benefits

Printable version of survey now available.

The FNHA Health Benefits Client Satisfaction survey was launched electronically in November and a printable PDF version is now available on our website. Please print this version and share it with Elders, community members and anyone else who would prefer to participate via this method.

The survey asks about clients' recent experiences accessing FNHA Health Benefits and how satisfied they were. We also want to hear about which programs and providers were accessed, and a few demographic questions.

This client satisfaction survey will help us understand your experiences accessing FNHA Health Benefits. We will use this information to improve the quality of our services.

The survey is anonymous and takes just 5-10 minutes to complete. Hard copy surveys can be faxed or mailed in.

FNHA is Seeking BC First Nations Individuals to Share Cancer Screening Journeys

Do you have a friend or family member who found cancer early by getting screened for cervical or colon cancer?

The FNHA is teaming up with the BC Cancer Agency to develop two short videos sharing two people’s experiences with detecting cancer early by getting screened for colon or cervical cancer.

For both videos, we are looking for participants who are willing to share their stories of detecting cancer early through screening to highlight the importance of these tests.

The development of these culturally relevant videos will aim to support First Nations in making decisions about cancer screenings and taking action in their own wellness plans—it will also provide information on who should get screened.

If you or someone you know would like to share a cancer-screening story, please contact Kevin.Linn@fnha.ca.

SAIL for First Nations: Fall and Injury Prevention Resources Now Available!

The Strategies and Actions for Independent Living for First Nations (SAIL-FN) program was designed in partnership with the FNHA and in collaboration with multiple First Nations communities across BC.

SAIL-FN core resources include key program elements that, when implemented, are shown to reduce falls among older adults and are consistent with Accreditation Canada’s Required Operating Practices (ROP) for fall prevention.

The enhanced resources are based on proven strategies for reducing
