Hi everyone welcome to this edition of Lisa Loves 2016 certainly seems to be moving on a pace. With the London Marathon just last weekend, a big congratulations to any of you who successfully completed the 26.2 miles, especially if you were raising money for worthwhile causes. It is now the early May bank holiday so hopefully a good opportunity for us all to get out with Friends and Family and enjoy some sunshine (fingers crossed) but if in true Bank Holiday fashion the weather does get the better of us there is still plenty on offer around the capital like Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones @ Saatchi Gallery, Vogue 100: A century of style @ National Portrait Gallery or Strange and Familiar: Britain as revealed by International Photographers @ Barbican. Whatever you get up to I hope you enjoy. ❤ |

Guilty Free ChocolateWe are absolutely Nutricoa here in clinic. Nutricoa is a new chocolate adventure in well-being aiming to create indulgent, portion controlled (less than 90 calories per day), high cocoa content chocolates that also deliver additional benefits to the body and mind. They took their research inspiration from the rich history of cocoa, from the cocoa drunk by the ancient Olmec civilisation to modern scientific discoveries. They refined their chocolates from fine Colombianground beans with honey and a proprietary blend of active ingredients tailored to specific needs such as women health, beauty or vitality. The first 2 formulations launched in April 2016 support women well-being and beauty. They are equivalent to taking a multivitamin pill or a supplement replenishing you from the inside with pleasure and goodness. The well-being chocolate daily bars packed with vitamins and minerals target oxidative stress, immune system, hormonal balance, tiredness, energy release, bones, nervous system, mood and cognitive functions. The beauty chocolate bars containing collagen and hyaluronic acid, as well as biotin and vitamins A and C, support skin, hair, nails, teeth and mood. Feel free to try some next time you visit or get in touch for more information

Spring timeIt is now a good time to start thinking about changing up your Skincare regime. Begin with hydration, we are all guilty in the colder months of swapping out water intake in favour of a more warming latte or cup of tea. Try and get into the habit now of consuming eight or more glasses of good quality water a day to help your skin look fabulous come the warmer days. I talk a lot about the importance of good regular exfoliation and now is a good time to concentrate on the body, which has been wrapped up in warm winter clothes and long boots for a while. Use a good exfoliator for the body to slough off those dead skin cells and prepare the skin for the change in season. for advice on products please get in touch. |

New TreatmentPure Rose Quartz FacialI am very excited to announce the addition of a brand new treatment, 'The Pure Rose Quartz Facial' to our menu, and I am confident you will love the results. The treatment starts with a thorough cleanse to remove impurities while balancing and optimising the skin's pH. We then apply a 'rolling' enzymatic skin peel which is massaged into the face to provide a refreshing skin rejuvenation. This is then followed by the application of an effervescent oxygenating masque to illuminate the skin. We then infuse the skin with a powerful plant-derived stem cell serum with oxygen to help extend cell life, reduce inflammation and lighten pigmentation followed by a soothing Rose Quartz facial massage to create light and enhance your wellbeing. And finally we conclude the treatment with the application of the Pro-effect Luminescent Base and an oil free tinted moisturiser with broad spectrum sun protection leaving your skin with a healthy even-toned glow. |

Cobra PoseThis month Yoga pose is 'Bhujangasana' or Cobra Pose. This pose is good for opening up the Heart and Lungs aswell as tightening the buttocks. When preforming this pose always find a height you are comfortable with and never overdo the bend which will make sure you do not strain your back. If you ask me what I came into this life to do, I will tell you. I came to live out loud. |
