Hi, there — 

I'm not quite sure how it's October already, and our racing season is just about done... Where did the time go?  They say time flies when you're having fun, and I know for me personally, it's been an extremely fun season.  The MR2 has been a blast to drive, and I've really enjoyed getting to know many of you better.  Thankfully for us, it's not over yet!  We have one more weekend of events each, for both Autocross and Rallycross.  Thankfully our withdrawal symptoms won't set in just quite yet...  See you at Hershey!

Note from the RE

Another successful Susquehanna SCCA season will come to a close over the next few weeks with our season-ending Autocrosses next weekend at Hershey and a late Rallycross event scheduled on November 18th. Although the season is ending, there is plenty left to look forward to! In the off-season, the Autocross and Rallycross committees will be hard at work planning next year’s schedule and potential changes to advance each program. If you’re interested or have ideas, we invite you to get in touch and become involved. We’re always looking for dedicated, forward-thinkers. Lastly, Doug Austin and a few others on the (unofficial) banquet committee are already hard at work planning the festivities for our end-of-year banquet which is scheduled for Saturday, January 13th. We’re switching things up a bit this year… you won’t want to miss it!

Susquehanna Region's 2017 end-of-year banquet will be held Saturday, January 13 at the Sheraton Harrisburg/Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg. Watch for additional details in the coming weeks on how to RSVP. We hope you'll join us!

Hershey's Record Breaking Season-Ender

We've broken a record!  For the first time ever, the Hershey event sold out almost a month early.  We have people registered for the event from 11 states, and two great course designers for the weekend.  Needless to say, it's going to be one exciting way to end our season!

As many of you know, the wait list for the event has nearly 40 people on it for both days, so if you aren't able to attend, please make sure you cancel your registration so the next person on the wait list can race.  To update your registrations or view the entry list, please click the links below.  What a great way to end the 2017 Autocross season!

Rallycross Final Event - This November

If you thought you were done with playing in the dirt this year, you thought wrong.  You've got one more chance to get muddy with the Rallycross program, this November 18!    Make sure you check out the details, and watch for registration details coming soon! 

Please also remember John's note from last month and reach out to the club if you can help in any way with day-of-event setup, timing & scoring, and tech inspection.  We can also accommodate you if you'd like to volunteer your talents as a course designer/course setup.
